One Hundred Poems

When the brain and pen runs dry a challenge is needed. My personal challenge is to write one hundred poems in one hundred days at the rate of one a day. The discipline may yet keep me at my desk. So far I have never managed to complete this challenge. This attempt begins on 18th May 2007.

	011 Poetry Pusher - A ditty provoked by conversation about being pushed to do poetry
	010 Ducks - A haiku of sorts based on a real event. For some reason they prefer to nest here than by the pond a quarter of a mile away.
	009 Aunt Mabel - Another Little Willie...
	008 Grandma drinking Gin - Yet another little willie, this time about grandma and dad (and utilising an eyepoke specially for Stephen)
	007 There is no word for Daffodil on Vogon - As readers of the Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy will know, Vogon Poetry is the third worst in the universe. The poem below is a rare translation of a short piece by Sqincezk, as yet unpublished because it fails to evoke the proper responses. There was some talk of plagiarism about this work, though it was generally disbelieved as nobody would believe a poet called "Wordsworth" could be anything but the invention of a deranged mind.
	006 Uncle Arthur and Grandma's demise - Definately a little Willie, this one. Don't read if you are squeamish.
	005 The moral of what happened to Uncle Jute - More in the nature of a cautionary tale than a little willie. This needs editing still, or putting out of it's misery. Feel free.
	004 Emperor Penguin (Diamante) - I'm not sure I 'get' this form but wanted to have a go
	003 London Marathon - Why would anyone want to do it? Yet they do in droves. Even I am tempted.
	002 Bad Poetry - Don't you hate the little beast when it behaves like this?
