Quelle der Liebe

Tödliche Liebe

I took a walk down to the shore
Where strangers do conspire
I saw a man take a fall
Raised my hands in jubilation

I entered the eastern door
You entered through the western door
But we were too blind to see

I sat inside the bar
Drinking in the reek
Siting watching everything
Waiting for the one I seek

Behind the walls
There rose a great fountain
A fountain bereft of water
I saw you dip your feet in

I saw you dip your feet in
Your body was all dripping
It felt so much like sin
As I sat there by the eastern door

I was blind
Yet I could see
You were the one
The one I seek

The western door was nowhere
Just a wall is all I saw
So tell me did I witness
Did I witness you at all

Now my heart beat it is ringing
Ringing in my ears

My vision it is stinging
Realising all my fears

I walk out through the western door
Join you in the garden
You hold me in your arms
Our tears fill up the fountain

Very nice poem Mos:)  I like these stanzas the most:

The western door was nowhere
Just a wall is all I saw
So tell me did I witness
Did I witness you at all

Now my heart beat it is ringing
Ringing in my ears

My vision it is stinging
Realising all my fears
