I've been writing since I was about 8, purely for my own amusement at that point admittedly. Many pieces written and discarded between then and 2002. Most lost to ex-girlfriends or the bin. Since 2005, have been churning out poems at a much increased rate, though this has slowed somewhat in the past year.
I'm the first to recognise that volume does not equal quality, so don't mistake as yet another egotist who thinks he's a brilliant writer. Having said that, I believe I have a unique way of writing, one I've not yet seen matched in its form (or formlessness as the case may be...).
I don't critique on style, as this is such a subjective thing in my opinion. I for one don't write to set forms such as haiku, sonnets and the like. When I do critique, it’s the content I concentrate on generally. A well written piece is only a well written piece when it says something, rather than just matching the formula for a set style of poetry.
Anyway, enough of my blathering read something. If it happens to be one of my pieces of shit, then woo hoo for me. If not...well.....hard to say who’s loss that is really.
