Aufrichtigkeit

Tödliche Liebe

How do you do it

The sincerity that is

Particularly when you espouse

Hypocrisy

"Go Natural"
"Save the planet"
"Green Energy"
"Protect the animals"

Blah frigging blah

Try it

You'd be naked

Cold

Dead

Really though

Sincerity

You've gotta teach me that trick

A sentiment I often share myself.

I "could" become a vegetarian, but as of yet I'm not...thought provoking poem.

What can I say, I'm  a carbon-based life form who happens to be an omnivor..... Like I'm interested in lowering carbon levels. We'd have to wipe out all life for starters.....

Marvellous! The tone of this is something spectacular, I have to say. It is a sad situation when the environment -- an important issue in pretty much any book -- is marketed by such self-righteous loser hippies.

Thanks Leanne, high praise coming from someone with your skill.

I'e often thought that if all these tree huggers were truly sincere, they'd have no problem with someone of the likes of Emporer Palpatine seeing them and saying "Wipe them out, all of them". After all, one should lead by example! lol

One hope those morons who injured people with acid on the Japanese whaling boat remember their example next time someone beats the shit out of them. :P

Mos, I was wondering why so many of your titles are in German... just curious. The words always reminds me of my German Grandfather who used to say " Donner-Wetter noch einmal" whenever he was mad!
Mosquitobyte - on Mar. 4 2008

he he, interesting phrase he has there!

Hi Laurie,

The main reason I use Germanic titles at the moment relates to the extended ability to play with words/meaning, hence giving greater depth to a piece for those with the patience to translate a title. As you may be aware, whilst English is a Germanic language, it does not always translate accurately, so when I place an English phrase in a translator, I will get my German equivalent. If I then translate that back into English, it often gives a phrase which is similar but not quite the same to the original. I use this difference to give a hint to the thoughts underpinning the creation of the poems.

On top of that, I just love the look of German!

Hope that makes some modicum of sense.

Mos.

Alas, Poor Shan, Hippies can not read what is there, only what they wish to see.
