Sirenenlied

Tödliche Liebe

I was on your knees
Playing with your gun
When you clipped my wings
Threw them to the crowd
I jumped free
You couldn't rescue me
As I burrowed through the ground

You were on your way
To my city standing proud
Till I shot you down
Through you to the sea
You sank down
I didn't hear the sound
As you shouted out to me

With one hit

Two hits

You see me go insane

As I hold onto the memories
That you thought I had forgot

Lost

I scream with silence

Lost

My love is violence

Lost

Here come the sirens

I love the last of this poem, beginning with the first 'lost' and on it really struck a chord in me. I think you may have a misspelling in the line right before the first "Lost"...shouldn't 'forget' be 'forgot' ?

Great write Mos....

----- LIFE: I messed up, can I have a 'do over'?

I am orbiting, I don't know where, but I am orbiting something!

Thanks for spotting the mispell Rene. I do so hate it when I miss such simple stuff!
