Shadows III

Spurious Being

I detest today
It leaves me twisted
A roiling maelstrom
Emotions flowing rampant
Where once my blood ran
Whilst I lie
Foetal in my shadows

This cries out to me for a more choka form.

he he, I had to look that one up! I can see what you mean, perhaps I'll try a few of those, though as you've probably noticed, I tend not to do "form". Thanks as always for the comment.

I find that even though i'm not a particularly talented user of forms, the act of doing it improves my poetry immeasurably.

I had to look that up too, I had never heard of it before. I do agree with Stephan, while form poetry may not be one's style it definitely had a way of improving ones versatility as a poet overall. It makes you think hard about how you put something together. I found this read to be extremely interesting.
