Interminably Consternation
Down in the park
Where the crossfire burns
That’s where we trussed ‘em up
Didn’t seek forgiveness
God ain’t colour blind
Hide in the dark
With our headdress on
They listened I was the leader
Fearless behind my white cloaks
By day I’m a kitchen hand
Now I’m down in the park
Those friends of mine
I’m stripped and they call me nigger
I swore that couldn’t be
Seems my great grand mother was
Now the park is dark
I can’t even whimper
To tell them that I forgive them
That they’re still friends of mine
I’m staked out and my bodies dry
