Gibber

Interminably Consternation

A fool for your love indeed
To think of that marble
Taken from me in haste
Taken by me
That oh so smooth flesh

Not to drown in those eyes
Full of love and sorrow
Pains unknown to most
My vision would dim
Strangled by my own hands

Your arms sundered from me
The wings of my angel
Embracing me
Easing my fears and pains
Resolving me to me

That mind made mute
Bereft of its warmth and intellect
Never to hear the depth of your words
Missing your joy as you learn
The way you laugh at secret knowledge

Most though
I am fearful
For I would not be your hope
I would be distant
Unable to ease your fears

I would crush that black heart
Given to you in love
Before I would let this come to pass
For in you I have trust
In you
I have love
