~ R H A P S O R D I C ~
~ ~ TWO PART HARMONY ~ ~
... for those first trusting love
The Poet is her lyricist and her lover
He is expressive, emotional and deep
Yet this isn't the best that they offer
She is brilliant, so vivid and sweet
Endless hours filled with familiar laughter
Conversation, passions and natural trust
Old words spoken with much greater meaning
Facet after facet
Emerald cut
Each reflecting light
Alongside harmony is often variation
Flaws, although present are not noticed very much
Their encouragement and confidence abound
Sand can run quickly through this Hour-Glass
That's good when time itself will melt away
Although, I tell you
I don't know why
