New Clothes for my Bathroom (a sonnet)!

for Leanne's sonnet challenge...ta da!

Shower curtain hung, frills ruffles and lace
Black cherry candle’s aroma sets mood
Silky bubble bath, no this won’t be lewd
Sink deeply in warmth, a very good place.
A cold glass dripping water, light sweet wine
Romantic book of poems, I am alone
Relax, enjoy, rarity in my home
At last I’m allowed to softly unwind.
Big fluffy towel so soft on my skin
Luxurious comfort to aching soul
Baby oil glistens under pale lights glow
Who knows when I might get this chance again.
Always someone else to consider here
Precious moments alone can be so dear.

Absolutely lovely... ahhh... if only my bathroom weren't full of toys

In a couple of places I lose the iambs but that's due to pronunciation differences so I'll stay quiet about that, it's very nicely done Rene.

Thank you Leanne, I had to hide the toys as I am raising my 6 yr. old grandson (lol) and the toys overtake me on a daily basis all over my house. This was fun to write and I have been playing with form all day (getting ready for that next poetry class).
