La Verite

Amaranthine Fetish

In Truth
We have suffered
One Surrendered
The other battles in hiding
Pains unknown to the world
Horror and terror in the shadows
In blood your hands are covered
That of an innocent
Blameless is she
He bleeds daily
Still fighting his demons
Yet in the shadows he hides
That darkling that cries
Would that he could tear
Wrench the demons from the citadels
Cast them upon the soil and destroy them
He knows though
Without their pain
These two would not be as they are
She seeks to have her life wrested from her
That he will not do
For it would sunder his very being
They must cajole their pain
Harness it for themselves
Embrace it
This will stop it growing
No surrender
No fighting
Acceptance and assimilation
Then they can live
Then they can love
In truth
