I enter the Notre Dame of your mind
Enraptured by its haunting beauty
Sensing wonders yet undreamt
Words
Words are every where
Their meaning Twisted
Put to different uses
I sense your shadow
Dank & dark
Familiar in its echo's
The flickering images
The horror at the edge of awareness
I dare not enter yet
Too familiar
Too painful
Too soon
Yet I embrace this scar
For it is intrinsic to you
I would not have it excised
Rather, assimilated
Revealed
Released
As you have I
