Make Me Cry

Spurious Being

This is my age of trembling rage
I feel the ground move ‘neath my feet
If I take one step further, then I'm going over
The precipice, this place that I live
I cry out for shelter
I need you my lover
My souls reaching out, it's cold in this heat
I ask myself - "Is love what I need"
I hide myself - behind mirrored eyes
Make me cry, make me cry tonight
It's a part of me
Make me cry, make me cry tonight
Set my soul free

In pictures I'm bleeding, a null and void vision
Sweet suffering and long sideways glances
I took the blow up, my mind down
On the dead streets where I took rough chances
I am the gun in my hand, oblivions plan
But you talk to me through the night
I tell myself - tears are what you need
Unhide myself - in these eyes
Make me cry tonight

And so I exit my world
That murderous girl
I'm a victim of her circumstances
But you have poured back the love
Embrace me like a glove
Showed me hope and increased my chances

Well I hope and I pray
That maybe today
I'll hear my last scream in the night

I tell myself - tears are what you need
Unhide myself - in these eyes
Make me cry tonight
