Lingering Hate

Spurious Being

My sweet suffering
A lingering hate
Lies in the darkness
Gross in its being
Its putrid tastes
It sees beauty
As a crimson veil
That stains my mind
With loves desires
Lusts travails
I coddle this hate
Embrace it
Accept its fate
Yet tremble nightly
As it lurks
Careening through my dreams
Mindful of my memory
No waking pain
Except the screams
These bloodshot pages
The hate of her
The passion of my violent rages
Sister mine
I love you true
You did this to me
Oh what I could do
My lingering hate
Is reserved for you
Yet it washes
Over all my loves
Mars my mind
Leads to loss
Many I've loved
My lingering hate
Drove me away
Now I sit here
Realising
These crimson tears
Within my mind
Must be stopped
For I need to be me
The one deep inside
Kind
Considerate
Open and warm
Not this shattered
Faecal spawn
So I open my arms
To a Spurious Being
Hand her my heart
I know I need
Someone to hold
A mind to taste
To be rid of
This lingering hate
I'll let love come
Learn too wait
It'll come
At its' own pace
