She Knows

She Knows

She crept into his world
Under the radar
At first unseen
No notion of her existence
Slowly at first
Over several years
Like a wraith
Her image took form
Before clouded eyes
A sense of id
A spark of empathy
Unknown and unknowable
At least then
A wayward smile
Fleeing from her gentle face
Approached him
Moved the hands of fate
He remembered her name
She Knows
Aaaah sweet
Oh too young, She Knows
He cringed
Knowing in his mind
Yet ignoring with his heart
That this would end
This that was he
Would cease
But the sweet, sweet suffering
It lasted long
One day
A woman grown
They approached
Laughed
Blushed
Spoke of trivial things
Avoided eye contact
Then kissed
Blissful agony
Death, come now
He cried in his mind
Such passion
Such tenderness
Such ills
To continue further
No option on that
Refrain
Back to pure pain
A year passes
Story repeats
Suffering so sweet
24Hours of Teasing
His sweet Temptress
She knew then
More than he
The pain
The tears
The road travelled
Another year
And another
Alone now
He reaches out
Fantasy?
Apparently fulfilled
Stretched over a decade
The entrapment of a fool
Awakening of truths
Dissected by her beauty
A mind that cuts through
Deconstructs his façades
Lays bare the truth concealed
Even from the self
Torments his very soul
Shatters his mind
Sets him free
Such pain for him
But the joy
Knowing at last
After all this time
Why he hurt
How he hurt
To embrace the hurt
Still they chat
Eternal flirts
Both scarred
Never to heal in full
Withdrawn and open
Somewhere a seed
Both aroused
Now we shall see
How intimate
These friends shall be
