The Stranger

Tormented souls - "Desire's a strange bedfellow"

He came from nowhere
She had never seen him before
But she wanted him
Never before had she felt this
Desire so strong
Powerful
She shuddered
A chill up her spine
Such were her feelings.

He entered the room
All noticed him
Sheer power radiating from him
PRESENCE
He had eyes for one only
As if he had come just for her

She played the innocent
A mistake as it turned out
He knew her well
He had been in her dreams
She had summoned him it seemed to him
Her soul was bare to him
Ripe
Wanton
Bleeding

He approached her
Grabbed her roughly
Embraced her and penetrated her
His tongue dancing in her mouth
Welcomed and feared by her
Lustful
Hungry

She moaned
Unsure of why she let this happen
Sure only of her desire
She needed this man
Knew he needed her
As if her soul depended on it

He grabbed her hand
Led her outside
Dark alley
Smoke and steam
The smell of raw sewerage
His world

No smells could distract her
She was bound
Hypnotized by her need
Her desire and longing
So old
So vibrant

He took her then
She could not resist
Needing all he had and more
Had to give of herself
Knowing he would take

His face had changed
A hint of sadness
A suggestion of his sorrow
A deep remorse for what he did

She was in ecstasy
Unaware of her doom
Enjoying the moment
As if it were her last

As he thrust deeper,
Wrenching her soul
He took the scalpel
Slit her throat
And came

As she sighed
Realising her life was complete
She kissed the stranger
Felt his tears on her lips
And faded away
