A Little Bit Of Passion

To those who fail in love - don't tread this path

I awoke before dawn
Sensing the cold, I drew the blanket closer
Still the clinging moisture of the damp chilled me

Last night was a blur
The drinking
The drugs
The women

Oh the women, lustful and yearning
Still my heart was chilled
The abandonment was complete

We came home as I recall
2 nameless ladies & I
For fun, for pleasure, for good...

Times
Hazy, too much filling my mind
One caressed one rode
I blinked

Alabaster skin, cold beside me in the morning
They're both moist, warmed by my cold body
Absorbing my warmth
Absorbing me

Crimson shades cause my vision to bleed
My senses a dulled
They always are after that kinda night

They sleep the sleep of the dead
Vampiric in every sense
They have taken the essential me
I gave them my warmth and love

The love of the gods I gave them,
And they craved it
Begged for it

Now I move on
To another town
Another name
Another life

I leave them to chill and desiccate
To become mothers to millions

They have become as one
Another memory
Another nightmare

I died a little last night
I've moved on
They're home for good.
