The Faithless

My dad ain't dying,
He's dead.
No more the man I could stir with impunity
Chagrined, I stand resolutely mute
I sense nothing
Beyond him there is a void
One that I cannot fill.
Love departs, anger beckons.
Your God took you - not mine!
My God is you...
And thus I lose faith.
As eternally faithless I shall heed,
Bend to the will of your wisdom.
Be thankful, have mercy, enjoy life.
To the sons of fascination of Templar renown,
True wisdom has died, the time is unknown.
Have peace my father, grant me this wish.
No greater man, more deserving of this.
