See It

Walking in the darkness
I'm walkin' in a dream
Don't know where I'm goin'
And I don't know where I been
I see a bleedin' hand
And now I understand
But I ain't gonna say it yet
Through the park
Through the city
Through the street
I see it in the shadows
I see it in the sheets
Got to cleanse my mind
So I'll be complete
See the TV screen
Shouting at me
Now I hear the colours
Flowing red
In my eyes
In my ears
In my head
With one solitary thought
Drowning in my hand
A blood red rag
And I start to understand
See me in the movies
See me in the street
I'm one of those that you don't wanna meet
I say the things you won't
Do the things you can't
Now honey I'm warning you to get away
I'm the man with no soul and no heat
With one solitary glance
From this frozen hearted man
I'll bury you deep in a frozen waste land
I tell the story slow
Though you want it fast
I gotta draw it out
Make it last
See it in your head
That you want me dead
Well sonny I'm gonna try and do it right
See the blood on my hand and at my feet
With one sacrificial blow
From this dagger in my hand
I've rid your world of this understanding man
