The Desert Forest

Recorded as a song at one time, shame that band I was in never got past rehearsals, I loved singing.

Twisting
Turning
Falling to the ground
The Scorpion is marking the sound
His desert forest of darkness is all that he sees
The marbled sculpture of a breast
He places at his knees
The sun beats down on the sands of his heart
As the wind tries to tear it apart
Drowning in the flesh of another
He opens his eyes and sees his sister

He dashes her brains against the wall
Isn't she the one that made him fall

Darkened soul that is his heart
He looks at her and starts to laugh
Not his sister but a stranger
He hadn't warned her of the danger

"Oh sorrowful child, your sisters alright
I only need her for a few more nights"

He tries to leave the desert forest
But it's cold and frightening
He stands at the edge and sees the world
Pain and suffering draws him there

"Enter" Oh what a foolish dare
He returns to his hell
The frozen blaze

I wonder
Can you see all this
In his gaze
