what love means to me

Draft 2

in thick of weeds by creak of door
a tall petunia arches toward
the last slim bits of summer sun
red petals tremble each cool morn
for fear the frost is nearly here

until brisk thursday when, of course
it is time to scrape the ice from
shrouded windows on silver buick

I love this one Stephan! It really speaks to me...

It is interesting how delicacy arches toward warmth and light and ritual almost indifferently accepts her death. But then the Buick would be difficult to operate encased in frost. I would say the image you portray here is fairly perfect as a frame of film.
