Canto For Winter

Sing to me softly
love, as we walk through paths paved
velvet and honey.

Your breath is warm near
my skin, and your kiss leaves the
merlot's blush upon

my lips. Speak into
my ear gently, and the trees
will be our only

witness; the snow, your
voice. Sing to me softly, love,
and let us remain

as still, as hushed as winter.

This is incredibly tender and romantic. It really moved me.
