advice to a budding poet

You said,
"It seems too short
to be a poem"

"Indeed?"
I answer.

frustrated you say,
"How long is a poem?"

So I tell you
exactly:

"How long is a moment?
It's about that long."

I think you might have commented on the person who said it, but I dont' think it was yours She had written a poem that I suggested seemed like 3 different poems and she thought that they'd be 'too short' -- i was teasing her a bit.

I think I told someone else -

with a poem titled 'Words to the Young Writer' or something to that effect

that I thought their poem could have been longer.

 

And I thought you saw it.

And were reprimanding me. xD

I would never reprimand for anything like that. Unless someone is being abusive or something... geez. I'm not that much of a nazi!
