More in Release the Hounds

counting (and days) in colors

a collaboration with Julie

sometimes the sum of one and pi
is a soft alien landscape,
pink and indigo, more

lush than e, warmer
than gravity's constant,
Saturdays or

the white of silver's
specific heat's number
of degrees kelvin

sometimes on sienna Thursdays,
one and one make blue
brighter than the iridescently irrational
square root of two or

the counting of green whole notes
playing in Sunday’s holey
black pocket

What's wrong with 2^(1/2)? 1.414 rhymes in perfect iambic!
Julie posted, in collaboration with Julie? I hope your sex life is better than that.
I think my favorite line is the "...one and one make blue".
The most awkward line is the
"specific heat's number
of degrees kelvin".
It's a bit too clinical, I think.

Now, now. I posted it in Anstey's directory on behalf of Anstey. The copy in MY library says in collaboration with Stephan.
