What did he create this with - paint, computer, etc.?

Anstey -

yeah, he was hamstrung a bit. He wanted to use GiIMP -- which is basically a free version fo photoshop -- but in school they were using appleworks paint app, which is a big universe of suck. (think the MS Paint app...but a little better)

He did it all freehand with the mouse, which, I marvel at, because I can't do it.

Anyways. It's not 'great art' but it's cool. The assignment was do something on the computer in the style of your chosen artist. (Van Gogh) in this case, he was trying to emulate the Van Gogh's room painting.
