i dance

the kitchen is dark
the floor filthy
the moldy smell of dirty dishes
and the sound of a leaky faucet
careen around in time to
the brown roach's heartbeat.

moonlight finds a polished clean
pure moment in the squalor
and she whispers to my feet

she smiles, and i turn
my weight falls from left

to right

to left to right to left to right

we flow together, the stars
they know of caesura and love
lust, creeping dreams, sensual
kisses and the lure of everysong

she smiles, and i turn
her weight against me

against me

against me, in and out

she turns, i turn
the moonlight finds us

and we count

two

three

four

five

six

seven

eight

the kitchen is dark
the floor is filthy
like our feet now

like our minds now
smelling only sex
and swaying to loud silence.

moonlight falls silver on my face
i kiss her.

Frankly, the feel of dancing comes and goes in this – unlike #4 (singing), where the theme was imitated throughout. The theme is true, but the structure and onomatopoeia are not, This write could easily stand on its own. However, I think it’s the weakest (or the least strong) of the set so far.
...Trip-udio? I think that's where I took my dance lessons.
