Tuesday... oh no

Time is slipping away from me. I have so much to do and so little time!

Last night i was sitting on the couch watching Heroes, and it suddenly occurred to me how incredibly wasteful that is -- watching TV. Life is about connections... and Television does not connect us to anything. It disconnects us. How sad is that?

I was a bit unable to write last night, not due to writer's block, which i dont' believe in too much,b ut instead because my head was splitting in two and I physically had trouble thinking and seeing.

That's why I didnt' get to that poem last night. I'll start working on it now.

I could have written almost an identical journal entry this morning.

I never used to watch any TV, but over the last several months I've most definitely been using it to "check out" and, yes, disconnect from stuff I needed a breather from. Yes, it's wasteful. Almost like a drug in many ways.

are you peaking at the unpublished ones, or just generally commenting on all that i've posted lately>? I am thinking the stuff i'm working on (unpublished in my 2007 folder under "ergo sum hominus" is going to t end up being ok. I'm not sure yet. I was excited about it though.
