Shakespeare's Monkeys

Infinite Monkeys. Infinite Typewriters.

More in Drizzle

mysteries&little things

urgent bears with salmon breath
along the river of my death
all weep for honey gone

cell phones stole my words
and now, i cry, "It's so absurd!
the bees have lost the song"

lazing lions symbolic fools
broken fences, murky pools
Where's the sense in that?

polar bears drowning in
salty waters, salty sins
freezing from lack of fat

a finger raised for nifty breeze
and skinny sun sets to please

"Father! Father!" from my knees
heatsink city sweet disease.

dead brown bear, salmon's song
floating the river bank along
a red bricked path

no calls to Holiness abound
there are no bees in this mean town
only lonliness' bare wrath

love, the lion sighing soft
no angel wings, or signs aloft
of our hearts-a-warming

just tooth sifted syllables unsaid
news of waspish lost and angry dead
here in hell all swarming.
