slicing bread thinking about time
there's a little lake
at the base of the Grand Teton's
named after some guy's little girl
where we stalked down the steep embankment
to take pictures with the blue skies
and mountains behind us
i thought,
it'll never be this good again
but never is a long time
and the next day
we were driving through Utah
when the sunset so big
and bright and colorful
I almost cried right there
in the middle of the highway.
