Adsullata

Adsullata is the name of a celtic river goddess.
Each spring she twirls beneath
sweet slow lingering sunlight then
from summer's curled edges
to autumn's gilded parchment

Beneath the hardcover
of spiny winter's icy calm
she flows cold love to passion's
gray tongued sea for one
last deep kiss

before she fades with Fomorians
from green inked memories
along mountain dreams
and the cursive of seafoam,
true love and wanderlust.

This is a very beautiful poem, I loved the words you used .

The first 2 stanzas are vibrant and smell of early april. i don't find the same vividness in stanza 3. i think this poem deserves better than "verdant memories of wild abandon along mountain dreams"

huh?
