afraid to write what's real

shall we type the words we're thinking
of or type the words we can't
shall we type the words we're saying here
or all the words we shan't

that's the question in my mind
when the answers are quite clear
that's the question right behind
me when you're sitting near

shall we think the thoughts we dare not think
of or think the thoughts we should
shall we think the thoughts we want to think
even though they're not so good

that's the question on my mind
when the night is growing deep
when the answers are so very real
and I should be fast asleep

shall we type the words we're eating
up as we munch upon our lips
shall we type the words we're meaning
when our hands roam to eachother's hips?

that's the question deary
that's the question right at hand
we can't see the answers clearly
and I'm sure that we don't understand

so...
