Domesticated Life on the Road

I'll play you a song
I'll make my guitar sing
You can follow along
If it's what you want to be

Ohhhh, what to do?
I'm just sitting here, thinking of you.
And nothing seems to go away
from yesterday.
And now I think I'm dying.
Because I hear you crying.
And I've found out
What I don't know I know.....
What I don't know I show.

The images vanish away,
right from under my tongue.
I wish we could fly away,
and play under this sun.
We don't know it.
But we can feel.
I hope I don't blow it.
Please don't break that seal.

Ohhhh, I think I'm falling again.
I'm in need of a friend.
And you step up and smile.
And I laugh all the while.
Because the happiness that is me
Is in you too, I see.
We're all happy.
And we'll have a good time.
No it's not sappy.
We'll just stand in the light of the lime.

And nothing seems the same.
Not even my own name.
As the clouds pass by
and I fly high
seeing new sights
hearing new lights.
All with you.
