Shakespeare's Monkeys

Infinite Monkeys. Infinite Typewriters.

More in He was born a Scentless Apprentice

Yeah, my first poem in awhile.

There's a lot of things I'd love to draw
But upon my prescence the scene I saw
Was oh too harsh so I moved on
Into the woods that have since long gone.
Travel on into the wind
With stamps and letters it's love I send
To the towns back home that I've forgotten
But they found me and shot me spot on
Now as my blood flows into the creeks
I see the scene I was searching to seek
Into the sky a fall bird flies.
A bullet shot, it falls and dies.
Onto my lap, as I lay with blood.
My only friend, it's from above.

Hey, I like this! Except these two lines:

Down the stream with all the fish Take some leaves, make a lovely dish

I'm not sure what they add...but I am probably missing something.
