Valentine's Day

Yeah. Not so much.

I love my wife.

I really do.

I love her a lot, and that's why Valentine's day offends me. I hate being told what to do and when to do it. I think, if I love someone, I should decide when and how much to show them I love them. I don't need corporate America to tell me that I need to buy lots of crap to show my love the depth and breadth of my madness for her.

Screw that.

Yeah. I feel that way about all of those.... I undermine them. Like...my son was born on Christmas...so we always celebrated that. Rick asked me to marry him on Feb 14---hee hee so we celebrate engagement day...ignore the valentines really. We celebrate every day. So we don't stop those days...but celebrate our own. I don't like the commercial "forcing" either.
