Just wanted to make sure that the formatting is intentional, and not forced due to a problem with the editor. The poem itself is interesting in what it says about the observer than the observed. I find that appealing.

The formatting is not intentional....I am a techno-peasant, and can't figure out how to do it right....I was going for a traditional format of 4 line stanzas. Help!

Hey, I went in and added the new lines. It seemed like they were holding the line breaks for me. I wonder if it's a browser issue or a javascript issue on your end.

If you keep having problems, you can go into your profile, edit your self, then edit preferences to set your editor to the other choice (yacs editor) -- then you can force new lines with the new line code listed above the editor.
