A Small Lesson in Perspective

In the hazy stupor of just past midnight
The faint crescent scoop
Dangles just to the left
Outside the bedroom window
A brief reminder
Of insignificance

Until you roll over
Trap the covers
And me
Beneath your thigh

The title is great. I like this! I'm not sure about using the word "scoop" as it seems, for me, too redundant with "crescent" and does not seem to add anything.

Well, I liked "scoop" because it made me think of ice cream in this hot weather. On the other hand, you might consider adding a short line describing what it's scooping. Just a thought.
