Monkey's Free

Oh no, oh no! Don't go! Don't go!
Those monkeys in my head have broken free
They flee! They flee! Whooping, hollering
Singing that they are finally, finally free
There is a gooey mess all around me
Plain As plain can see
My brain has spilled along the floor
As the monkeys head toward the door
I'm in shock as I gather each thought
As I stuff them in the hole open wide
That is hard to hide my fear inside
Where the monkey love used to be
It's gone now you see, no more peels
Dances, prances, inspiration calls
Wild monkey climbing or freedom falls
My mind is blank where once they marched
My brain is ragged my heart is parched
Damn those monkeys each and every one
Without them I unravel, I come undone
Beware those monkeys inside your head
Fighting to get free 226 they will flee
No honor, no loyalty, no real true love
As out the door they push and shove
Goodbye my monkeys I wish you'd see
Just how much you all meant to me.
