so it's probably safe to assume that

That's ridiculous, of course, turnip affect a hell of a lot more people
than the pope

but turnip aren't infallible on matters of the church
nor do they bop around the vatican in their slippers

people like the whole bopping around 'thing'
even when they're not keen on the latest decrees from the guy in the funny hat
