suppose i only want a giant cup of vegetable oil
and forty thousand pieces of fresh asparagus
to string together into a raft
so i can float around on the oil
suppose that's not all i want
what if i want much more
red onions, tuna steak, a farmstead in montana
and my own horse
suppose i had all that
and the big cup of oil
all the asparagus
and a cymbol
crashing to celebrate how very me I am.
