five minutes before the 3" rhino mooed
it is startling how much noise
a 2" elephant can make
in a two liter dr. pepper bottle
but the neighbors almost never say anything
because i don't mention it when they watch national geograhic shows in the middle of the night
i realize that you're right
we should give the pachiderm away
to some kid with a terrarium
but,
i don't see a rhino walking in
and god knows
i need something to distract me from the loss.
