poetry snobs suck snot
even on warm summer days
when normal folks smile.

my hands shake slightly
reading bad poems by fools
I look up and pray

i count poorly
my haiku are broken like spring
it would be wise to quit now.

and my tears forget.

the red sun blazes before me
silent and honest.
