please, don't pinch me.

tell me all about my smile
because I can't see it from this angle
i can't imagine
how you can believe i'm beautiful

you say you do
i'll listen
but you have to describe
in intimate detail
the wrinkles
and twists
that make you love me

Eye of the storm - on Sep. 23 2007

I like this, a lot.

The reminds me somewhat of a Hemmingway story. Nary wasted word, yet conveys the emotions and feelings of the two parties.

I can see the person being spoken to, with a loving look eminating from their eyes, telling how beautiful the loved one is, to them.

Then there is the response, from most of us, thrilled and suprised to be found beautiful.

Great flow, the first line of S2 and S3 pulling their stanzas seamlessly into the whole.

Nice read. Thanks

Your'e too kind. Thanks. I wish I remembered more about writing this. It's been a few years. It's a style i don't go with much anymore. Maybe i'll play with it some more.
