We sat
My companion and I
Alone in the lounge

Warming us
In the chill air of my lair

We conversed
Espousing theories
Proffering platitudes
And of course
Lampooned the ludicrous

Such sagacity
That our hair greyed by the second

Conclusions were reached
Decisions made
Remits to action conjoined

We would do it

And so
We set about scheming
Choosing our weapons with care

Place

Appointed

Witnesses arranged

We would to murder go
The inane and delusional our targets
Time for them to be pained
Time for the mind itching torture of We
