Luna Cruor

Profano Mortuus

The other day
I lost the sun
While just walking along
All the lights are gone out
Now I’m standing on the shore
As the fish begin to drown
‘Cause there’s no water there
I will lay me down
As you remove your gown
Of mourning and of fear
The cold desert
Will reach for your heart
I will not be moved
Until I taste you dear
Until I taste your fear
As it turns to water
An ocean revealed
May it never leave you
I see the truth in your grace
As you run to the water
With blood on your face
Reaching for my moon
Pleading for slaughter
With no ounce of love
You’ll call me Dragoon
You’ll be my crimson glove
Rusting in the waters
Coloured with my blood
