Diligo Viscus

Profano Mortuus

When winter leaves
Her branches bare
As snakes entwine
To lead you
And truth belies
Beauty
Then you consider
For but a moment
The shape of silence

A simple caress
Meanders onward
Here and there
Catching a glimpse
Of your destination
Reaching depths of despair
Unknown by papists

You seek my eyes
Hands
Arms

Imploring me
With screams unheard
Mine eyes
Mordant in sagacity
Engorge themselves
Ensanguined
As your lie
Lies eviscerated

As once more you argue
Complain

Rail against me

With each syllable

Each denunciation

Your love

An open wound

Bleeds

For me
