The core of me

Reverberant within my skull

I watch it pooling

There
That dark stain

A ruminant of my mind
Falling through the fine patina
That oh so delicate filigree of cracks
Formed with such care upon this wall
Oblivion refusing to meet me
Despite the kiss of Liverpool
Delivered metronomically

That wall

Now in ruins

Whilst I

Well

I watch my body rebel
This excuse for a left hand
Barely in control
As it scratches these musings

Dull

Insistent

Belligerent

I tremble in my right mind
