Shakespeare's Monkeys

Infinite Monkeys. Infinite Typewriters.

More in The Poetry of Rygar

acceptance

Love no longer holds its edge,

With sledge hammers crushing blow,

Dulls the blade of this mans heart,

And me, forever on my own.

Realizing that our love is gone,

Replaced by hate, I say ENOUGH!

I can’t abide your treachery.

I may be strong but love is rough.

The road on high will be my path

I wont play this woeful game

Or soil our loves memory,

To sully your once golden name,

No eternal bliss for me,

Instead the wilds of life I’ll roam,

Moving slow with heavy heart,

Knowing that I’ll die alone.
