Glitter

Diaphanous Heliotrope

In the corner
Sat a man
Twelve holes gnawed in his head
Wry smile on lips
Dead roses in his hands

Looked around
Couldn’t see
What it was amused
Only seven foetal lambs
Struggling from the wounds

Forty years
I’d never feared
Then I saw the mirror there
Reflecting my true self
And I was relieved

The first stanza gives me a vivid image, I like this one!

3pnts for the use of the word foetal.

I do hope 3 points is good......

It's not out of 300 is it? :P

:) 3pnts sounds good to me. I mean, I'd be happy to have any points. I'm generally pointless.
