Diaphanous Heliotrope

They fear me
Don’t know what to do with me
I am their poison
I am divine

Couldn’t kill me
Tried to break me
Never shake me
I still survive
I am alive

They choked me
Set my flesh afire
Ripped out my spine
Undeterred
I still survive

When you whip me
When you stake me
Don’t you know
You’ll never take me
I just smile
I am divine

You never see
Who I really am
Live in fear
For I’m fates left hand
Choke on my poison
I am divine
