Calling to me
It’s someone not quite me
I peer into those eyes
Open sores
An expression so numb
No spirit sleeping in that home
Looks like me inside
Tearing out my mind
Bleeding into nothing
I’ve become
Now it’s time to break out
See me when I’m done
Or will my shadow cloud your sight
Falter and hide
Only you ever got behind my lies
Though I’m too old in the eyes of eternity
Break me out tonight
To save me
Or nothing I become
